No donations for the east hills area were submitted. All requests were from in town Johnstown.
Ed Porada introduced our speaker Gary Lundgren a counselor with score, helping small business’s start up and grow. Gary handed out brochures and printouts for Service Corps of Retired Executives. Score is a free service they train and certify the counselors. Gary talked about the meetings, that they are looking for volunteers, as well as organizations who would like to make monetary donations. The meetings are Monthly and are open to everyone. After consideration, EHBA did not open up to donate to score because of how large of an area they serve. The decision was made to refer people locally to help out score.
The introduction of members was done.
50/50 was won by Heartland merchant cc processing and was donated back to EHBA
Melissa bird won the free lunch for May.
Next month’s meeting will be at Bella Sicillia and Leonard Lapaka will be our speaker.
