East Hills Business Association Monthly Meeting Minutes

June 18, 2015

Attendance
Twenty (20) members and guests were present.

Opening Remarks
The regular monthly meeting of the East Hills Business Association was called to order by Vice President Kim Oleksa. Kim thanked Anthony’s for hosting this month’s meeting. Kim requested approval of the May’s minutes. Motion to approve made by Chris Cameron; seconded by Lisa Arcurio; minutes approved.

Treasurer’s Report was given.

Secretary’s Report

Old Business
There are still issues with online registrations for the luncheons. Since there is not a link on the email, it was suggested to go to the website’s events tab to register.

New Business
Amy Moore resigned as the secretary and Tara Conner stepped up to take on the role.

Invoices are available for anyone who needs one to turn into their company for their 2015 dues. Please contact one of the officers to obtain one.

Kim suggested securing new locations to meet for future lunches. We can rotate between EHBA member’s facilities for lunch and tours. Kim also stated we are in need of speakers and how to encourage businesses to join.

If any EHBA member would like 5-10 minutes to speak during one of the meetings please contact Kim.

Kim suggested she would send a meeting requested via email and if you are bringing a guest to state so in the reply. This would begin in July 2015.
Motion approved by Barb Fortunato; seconded by Chris Cameron.

Featured Speaker
Kim Oleksa introduced Rob Hudson, Director of Development for the Johnstown Symphony Orchestra. Rob discussed the Symphony entering into its 87th season and the upcoming changes.

The introduction of members and guests took place, with the opportunity for to tell something no one knows about you.
